My Name In Lights

I went to Value World last night on my way home from work. There are far worse addictions a girl can have -- especially when it comes to shopping -- than thrift store shopping. I spent a good hour there, and left with a cute dress, a shirt and an old Lite Brite. And I spent a total of $12.94. I intend to eBay the Lite Brite, but I had to play with it just once.

Perfect View

We went to the annual St. Patrick's Day parade in the old Irish neighborhood of Corktown in Downtown Detroit this afternoon. The weather couldn't have been better. It was a fantastic day.
There were so many kids there, all dressed in green and diving for candy ... and so many adults all dressed in green and acting like kids. ;)

I like trees.

Taken through my car window as I waited in line at the bank drive-thru ... hence the blurry marks (from the water on my windshield.)

Slippery Slope

I had to drive to Northville for work yesterday morning to pick something up. This was the view out of the front window of my car as I was leaving the neighborhood. Pretty, but I really hope this is our last big snow of the season.

No Need To Worry

This arrived today in the office mail, with and advertisement. For something. That I threw away.
